Resumen

La presente indagación busca ofrecer un estudio abreviado acerca del origen de la filosofía, tomando como fuente principal lo que la corriente historiográfica –y la filológica– contemporánea del siglo XX suelen discutir en torno a dicha problemática. Ambas corrientes coinciden en reflexionar en torno a una tesis histórica: durante los siglos VI-V a.C. habría sucedido el “milagro griego”: la “liberación del lógos respecto del mýthos”. Ante este asunto, se abordarán dos posiciones históricas: primero, la perspectiva según la cual la liberación del lógos –razón– corresponde en sentido estricto a la época de la filosofía, ya que nacería como “verdadero pensamiento” según un origen propio; segundo, la perspectiva que entiende el origen del pensamiento filosófico como una forma más abstracta de la antigua forma del mýthos, según lo cual la “cosmogonía” configura una incipiente “filosofía natural”. Considerando lo anterior, la presente indagación busca ofrecer una clave de lectura en la comprensión del origen de la filosofía, proponiendo un enfoque “filológico”, según lo cual, es necesario desarrollar una interpretación de la “individualidad” en tanto que “expresión” que nace de una “interioridad viva”. Se precisará de una descripción de dos nociones arcaicas fundamentales en el estudio de la antigüedad: lógos –razón– y phýsis –naturaleza– atribuidos a pensadores de la época presocrática, con el fin de evaluar un posible sentido filosófico de ambos conceptos.

Abstract

The present investigation seeks to offer an abbreviated study about the origin of philosophy, taking as its main source what the contemporary historiographical and philological currents of the 20th century tend to discuss about this problem. Both currents coincide in reflecting on a historical thesis: during the VI-V centuries B.C. the “Greek miracle” would have happened: the “liberation of lógos from the mýthos”. Faced with this matter, two historical positions will be addressed: first, the perspective according to which the liberation of the logos –reason– will strictly correspond to the age of philosophy, since it would be born as “true thought” according to its own origin; second, the perspective that understands the origin of philosophical thought as a more abstract form of the ancient form of mýthos, according to which “cosmogony” configures an incipient “natural philosophy”. Considering the above, the present investigation seeks to offer a reading key in understanding the origin of philosophy, proposing a “philological” approach, according to which, it is necessary to develop an interpretation of “individuality” as an “expression” born from the “living interiority”. A description of two fundamental archaic notions in the study of antiquity will be required: lógos –reason– and phýsis –nature– attributed to thinkers of the Pre-socratic period, in order to evaluate a possible philosophical sense of both concepts.
